Job description / Role
The responsibilities will include:
- To coordinate and to direct the construction project and contracts trough a staff of qualified field construction specialists and support staff
- To report to the Project Director
- To participate in construction project meetings.
- To resolve conflicts in any of the engineering documents or site conditions and pursues timely resolution of such issues so work can continue unimpeded and without delay
The Senior Construction manager has the responsibility to deliver in time all the activities under the specific Area of the Project had been asignated.
Should lead the production of the site and coordinate with other departments like technical Department, Quality Department and Quality Control
Should prepare programs to coordinate and control the activities under his responsibility.
Should commit the production objectives to achieve the project activities.
Requirements
Candidates should have a university degree or equivalent in Civil Engineering or Architecture and must have a proven background (at least 15 years) in construction management of major infrastructure projects.
Experience of supervising a number of projects at one time.
Ability to manage the workers and issue clear instructions.
Strong communication skills.
