Construction Manager - ID Fit out

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager to oversee and manage interior design (ID) fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, with specific experience in the planning, execution, and delivery of fit-out projects. The Construction Manager will work closely with design teams, contractors, and clients to ensure that projects are completed to specification, on time, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:
• Direct and manage project construction from beginning to end.
• Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
• Effectively communicate project expectations to the Project Manager and other team members in a timely and clear fashion.
• Estimate the resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
• Where required, negotiate with other department managers for the acquisition of required personnel from within the company.
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to appropriate personnel.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Identify and manage project dependencies and critical paths.
• Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
• Track project milestones and deliverables.
• Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements documentation, and presentations.
• Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the project team, analyze results and troubleshoot problem areas.
• Proactively manage changes in project scope, and identify potential crises, and devise contingency plans.
• Coach, mentor, motivate, and supervise project team members and contractors, and influence them to take positive action and accountability for their assigned work.
• Create a recommendations report in order to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
• Develop best practices and tools for project execution.
• Conduct material quality control checks and make reliable recommendations.
• Implement productivity improvement and cost reduction initiatives to assist in market competitiveness and product reliability.
• Implement and promote product quality and workplace safety awareness programs to attain zero accident results. Support production area activities in a hands-on manner to assist in achieving unit performance objectives.

Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Construction Manager in fit-out or interior design projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, including project planning, budgeting, scheduling, and execution.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and under tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, safety regulations, and quality standards.
• Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in managing both commercial and residential fit-out projects is a plus.

Salary:
AED 15,000 to 25,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
