Construction Manager (Villas)

Job description / Role

Our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client has a new requirement for a well experienced Construction Manager experienced in major villa and residential projects to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on a new villa masterplan projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Construction Manager working on relevant projects in the UAE with preference given to those with prior experience working for recognised Main Contracting Companies

This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a temporary to permanent basis as an initial 6 month contract position, outsourced through J10 Consulting, with the option to transfer to staff after 6 months to suit all parties.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the construction lifecycle of mid - high-rise residential building projects, ensuring adherence to design, quality, and timeline standards.
• Manage day-to-day construction activities, including site supervision, contractor coordination, and resource allocation.
• Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, ensuring strict adherence to project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with UAE construction regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Lead and motivate on-site teams, including engineers, contractors, and laborers, to achieve project goals.
• Collaborate with architects, consultants, and stakeholders to resolve project challenges effectively.
• Monitor procurement and inventory of construction materials to prevent delays.
• Identify and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare regular progress reports for senior management and stakeholders.

Construction Manager Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is must and having a master’s degree is a plus.
• Should have minimum 8-10 years of experience, at least 3 as a Construction Manager
• Experience of large scale villas, mansions and residential masterplan building projects in the UAE is highly advantageous
• Having PMP, DM or SOE certifications is added advantage.
• Proven expertise in project management, construction methodologies, and mid - high-rise building codes and standards.
• Strong knowledge of local regulations, municipality approvals, and permitting processes.
• Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and AutoCAD.
• Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
