Construction Workpack Engineer

Job description / Role

Position: Mechanical/Piping Construction Workpack Engineer

• Manage resource issues for workpack team and identify to Project Engineers missing discipline deliverables that might affect KPIs.
• Manage and review schedule concerning worpacks and constructability reviews.
• Progressing construction engineering CTRs and reporting progress.
• Preparation of Constructability Review Terms of Reference.
• Detailed understanding of modern planning systems and their use in the execution of Construction as well as Project work scopes.
• Detailed knowledge of Permit to Work systems.
• Interface with Design and Construction Teams to optimize build and handover sequence.
• Participate in client meetings relating to construction and fabrication items, coordinators.
• Input to test workpacks where applicable.
• Experienced in the production of detailed procedures / documents / reports.

• Candidate's experience minimum 7+ years in Oil & Gas industry.
• Shall have worked as a Construction Engineer Brownfield/Greenfield modifications work.
• The candidate will be able to demonstrate good safety awareness.
• Able to produce technical documents and procedures covering all aspects of the Construction process.
• Delivery focused and committed to achieving of Project / Company goals.
• Able to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Shall be experienced in taking engineering design deliverables and developing the necessary construction input into a work pack.
