Job description / Role
- Provides Obstetrics & Gynecologic care according to assigned patients to current best-evidence based standards, using best judgement at all times and in accordance with SEHA’s Medical Staff Bylaws and Rules and Regulations coupled with hospital policy and procedure.
- Participates in review and planning activities relevant to Obstetrics & Gynecology services and the hospital.
- Participates in activities and opportunities to promote the Obstetrics & Gynecology services and the hospital to the general public and wider medical community of Abu Dhabi and the UAE.
- Fulfils professional requirements for continuing maintenance of competence in all aspects of Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- Carries out other assigned duties within the appropriate scope of knowledge, skills and abilities of the position.
- The post holder is responsible for providing comprehensive clinical consultant level patient care in Obstetrics & Gynecology.
- This responsibility may be shared with other specialists/consultants in Obstetrics & Gynecology in the hospital.
- Experience managing department financial budgets, clinical governance and auditing.
- Liaises with: Patients, families, medical staff, nursing staff and other clinical staff.
Requirements
- Candidates can be Male or Female.
- DHA/HAAD License are required.
- Minimum of two years’ experience as a registered Consultant
- Salary is to be discussed with the client.
