Consultant Neonatologist

Job description / Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Consultant Neonatologist to join our esteemed healthcare team in the UAE. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in providing exceptional care to newborns, particularly those with complex medical conditions. This role requires a commitment to improving neonatal health outcomes, mentoring junior staff, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standards of care in our state-of-the-art facilities.

Responsibilities:
- Provide expert clinical care to critically ill newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
- Conduct thorough assessments, diagnostics, and treatment plans for neonates with a range of medical conditions.
- Collaborate with pediatricians, obstetricians, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
- Mentor and train junior medical staff, including residents and medical students, in neonatal care practices.
- Participate in departmental meetings, case reviews, and educational pres

- Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from a recognized institution.
- Specialization in Neonatology .
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a neonatologist, preferably in a tertiary care setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in managing complex neonatal cases and procedures.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate approach to patient care.
- Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to continuous professional development and staying abreast of industry advancements.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
- A passion for teaching and mentoring the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Salary:
AED 65,000 to 95,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
