Core responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations to accurately diagnose mental health disorders.
• Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
• Provide therapeutic interventions, including psychotherapy and medication management.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in continuous professional development to stay updated with advancements in psychiatry.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution.
• Board certification in psychiatry is required.
• Valid and active medical license in the relevant state.
• Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in psychiatric settings.
• Strong clinical skills in diagnosis and management of psychiatric disorders.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with patients and families.
• Ability to work cohesively in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Fluency in English is necessary; proficiency in additional languages is a bonus.
