SearchPlus HR is proud to present an opportunity for a Consultant/Specialist Colon and Rectal Surgeon to join our reputable healthcare facility. This role is integral to providing specialized care for patients with conditions affecting the colon, rectum, and anus.

As a Consultant/Specialist, you will utilize your medical expertise to perform diagnostic assessments and surgical interventions tailored to each patient’s needs. The position requires a strong commitment to patient care, collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, and adherence to the highest standards of medical practice.

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct detailed patient evaluations including medical histories, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Utilize and interpret diagnostic imaging and laboratory results to inform treatment decisions.
• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures, including but not limited to colectomies and rectal surgeries.
• Oversee pre-operative and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery and monitor for complications.
• Educate patients and their families about diagnosis, treatment options, and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with specialists from various disciplines to facilitate coordinated care.
• Maintain thorough and accurate patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in continuous learning and professional development to stay current with surgical practices and innovations.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and maintain patient confidentiality at all times.

Requirements

• Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with an active medical license.
• Completion of a residency in General Surgery followed by a fellowship in Colon and Rectal Surgery.
• Substantial experience diagnosing and treating colorectal conditions.
• Strong surgical skills with proficiency in both traditional and minimally invasive surgery.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient engagement and teamwork.
• Ability to work in a high-pressure, multidisciplinary environment.
• Attention to detail and focus on patient-centered care.
• Commitment to lifelong learning and professional excellence.
• Uphold safety standards and best practices in all surgical procedures.

Benefits

Working time is full time.
Salary is AED 45K to AED 90K.
