Content Producer (for Arabs) Freelance
We are looking for a content producer in children literature – Arabic -. With strong skills in evaluating, validating and editing scripts. Able to juggle all the moving parts of publications. Maintaining creativity and fun through the eyes of a child by using relevant ideas and interesting topics in a connected writing structure.
You will plan, coordinate, review and edit content, then follow up with illustrators/artists to finalize each publication. The successful candidate will be responsible for meeting quality and accuracy standards. The goal is to provide exceptional, informative and engaging content ensuring that corporate content strategy is properly implemented.
Key Responsibilities:
• Evaluate publication standards and establish goals and expectations
• Suggest story structure and generate headline ideas in alignment with targeted audience’s preferences.
• Oversee layout (artwork, design, photography) and check content for accuracy and errors.
• Validate, edit & Improve information of the books.
• Cooperate and liaise with designers, photographers, advertising reps, writers, artists etc.
• Meet deadlines with a top-notch quality production ensuring corporate vision.
Requirements
Skills & Experience:
• Strong writing/editing/proofreading skills and an excellent portfolio.
• Hands on experience with MS Office.
• Excellent written/reading skills in Arabic & English.
• An eye for details along with critical thinking.
• Prioritizing and multitasking.
• Mid-career level with proven experience in Arabic children literature.
