Contracts and Procurement Engineer

Job description / Role

Ahmadyar Developments is seeking a qualified and experienced Engineer – Contracts & Procurement to join our Projects Department. This position has been created to support ongoing and upcoming projects, with a strong focus on quantity surveying, billing, procurement, and contract administration.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform quantity surveying activities, including measurement, estimation, and cost control
• Prepare and manage interim and final project billings
• Handle procurement processes, including material requisitions, vendor coordination, and purchase orders
• Assist in preparation, review, and administration of contracts and subcontracts
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely procurement and accurate billing
• Maintain procurement, billing, and contract records in ERP systems
• Support cost monitoring and reporting for project management

Qualification Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 5–6 years of relevant experience in:
• Quantity Surveying
• Project Billing and Cost Control
• Contracts Administration
• Procurement
• Prior experience working with a real estate developer or construction company is mandatory
• Technical & System Skills
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Working knowledge of ERP systems related to purchasing and billing
• Ability to read and work with drawings using AutoCAD

Salary:
AED 12,000 to 15,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
