Contracts Manager - Dubai

A reputable Contracting company is urgently seeking an experienced Contracts Manager to join their team in Dubai. This will involve working on a large scale infrastructure project involving roads & highways and requires someone with previous experience in a similar role on RTA projects within the region.

Responsibilities:
• Manage the commercial delivery of the project
• Ensure the administration of the contract is in line with the project requirements
• Report with clients and other parties through effective communication
• Management of risk/claim assessments as well providing a strategic approach to claim resolution procedures
• Manage delay analysis procedures and advise on any further procedures
• Provide advice on how to minimize the costs of legitimate claims and optimizing the financial result of the project
• Management of risk/claim assessments
• Monitor the change order process by analyzing the changes accurately
• Oversee the internal and external daily, weekly, and monthly reports

Requirements

• BSc degree in relevant field is essential
• Preferably further educational qualification such RICS membership
• A minimum of 15 years of experience, of which at least 5 years in the Middle East in a contracts and claims role
• A minimum of 10 years RTA project experience
• Ability to lead and manage a team successfully
• Outstanding communicational skills
• Fully proficient IT skills including Microsoft office tools
• Must understand FIDIC contracts
