Cook - (Arabic Cuisine - Shawarma, Manakeesh & Grills)

We are looking for a Cook specializing in Arabic Cuisine - Shawarma, Manakeesh & Grills to join our Airline Catering team in UAE-Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for hand-making delicious Shawarma, Manakeesh & Grills dishes according to established recipes while adhering to food safety & hygiene standards.

Responsibilities:
• Prepare ingredients and cook Shawarma, Manakeesh & Grills dishes according to recipes in a timely manner.
• Ensure proper storage of ingredients and finished dishes.
• Follow relevant health & safety regulations including proper food handling, storage and sanitation.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Monitor inventory and stock of ingredients and supplies.
• Communicate with other kitchen staff regarding orders and timelines.
• Adhere to food safety standards.
• Follow instructions from the head chef.

Requirements

• Proven experience working as a Cook specializing in Shawarma, Manakeesh & Grills.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Ability to work well under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to follow directions and work with minimal supervision.
