Job description / Role
A successful lighting business which recently expanded into Dubai is currently looking for an energetic and detail-oriented Coordinator/Estimator who will have the following responsibilities:
- Prepare work to be estimated by gathering proposals, specifications, and related documents.
- Coordinate with foreign suppliers and with customers
- Enter Quotations, Sales orders, Delivery Notes, Purchase orders on the ERP system
- Release the invoices and track deliveries
- Coordinate and contact shipping lines and forwarders to dispatch shipments from suppliers and follow up till shipments reach the final destination
- Suppliers are mainly from Jebel Ali, and China
- Customers are mainly based in KSA, Qatar, and UAE
- Provide regular reports on the status of each shipment
- Negotiate with forwarders for the best quote in each shipment
- Prepare the requested documents for each shipment in each country
Requirements
- 2-4 years of strong experience in coordinating/estimating
- Accounting degree or experience preferred
- Keen eye for detail and good sense of time management
