Employment: Contract

Our client is now recruiting for a Coordinator Site Control. You will be directly reporting to the Security Site Control Manager - Security Operations
Required Background: Military, Police Security or Defence (candidates coming from this background will be considered for the role.)
Duration of Contract: 8.4 months

Job Purpose
The Security Department at the event is mandated to prepare, deliver and ensure that the appropriate security solutions are in place for all phases of the programme and into legacy through a guest focused, risk-based approach that sets out to provide best-in-class security. The role of the Security Coordinator Site Control provides support and coordination in the daily provision of security, in the implementation of incident resolution, and acts as the communications link between

• Security at different zones
• Between security and other event’s departments
• Between security bronze & silver level, and
• Between security and the DPOC (Dubai Police Operations Centre).
• Between security and the DCD & DCAS.

Core Accountabilities

Operational Responsibilities
• Through Siemens Control Pro including the integrated Video Management System Coordinator Site Control monitors the event’s area including the inner and outer perimeter for occurrences and alerts that may have an impact on the event or need attention. Security Coordinator Site Control follows up with responsible SMS operators and ensures that they respond and update as appropriate.
• The Security Coordinator Site Control receives incident reports from various sources for information and/or action.
• The Security Coordinator Site Control enters the event into the SMS and/or CCP (Command and Control Platform) as necessary, evaluates incidents and escalates them to security silver or to the DPOC if required.
• Coordinator Site Control also shares information with other departments, control centers and individuals that need to know about the incident for their own action or information.
• Reported bronze level events that over-span more than one zone are managed by the security site control manager.
• The Coordinator Site Control monitors a number of WebEx spaces, mail accounts and radio channels and keeps records as appropriate and responds accordingly.
• As required Coordinator Site Control will also update other systems such as workforce management system etc. and will perform any other task as assigned by security management.
• Undertake any other duties as assigned by the Manager of Security Site Control and Head of Security Operations as required.

People Responsibilities:
• Provide visible coordination to the team and across the organization to key stakeholders.
• Manages workforce contractor CCTV and SMS operators

Requirements

Knowledge, Qualifications & Skills required

• 4 years’ experience in Security or similar role
• Strong Presentation and Communication Skills
• Strong Customer Service Skills
• Demonstrated time management skills
• Demonstrated experience in delivering on plans
• Demonstrated experience in Incident Management and Conflict Resolution
• Strong Attention to detail skills
• Demonstrated experience and expertise in Planning and Organisation
