Mid Level Corporate Associate - 3-5 PQE - Dubai
US International Law Firm Corporate team.
Search has been asked, by an old client of ours, to seek a high calibre corporate lawyer for their corporate / commercial team based in Dubai.
This is an exceptional opportunity in which the chosen candidate will be in a position to be at the forefront of market leading transactions, of exceptionally high profile, and as a result they will need to have background and experience to justify being put forward to this role.
The law firm is one of the most celebrated and high profile UK law firms to be operating in the UAE. They have a rich history within the region as well as bolstering a number off offices throughout the GCC. Corporate Lawyers will be an admitted in common law jurisdiction and have completed a training contract within a recognised law firm. ONLY candidates with this profile can be considered.
In addition candidates will be focused on corporate work with a particular focus on Joint Ventures, contract writing and Merger and Acquisitions. This is a very technically focused role and any candidates that wish to apply. Candidates are expected to have:
The client is looking for genuine commitment to the region as this role does offer progression within the firm which can be discussed during interview.
The salary the client is offering is approximately 540,000 AED (£90,000) - 600,000 AED (£100,000) for this post but this can be flexible based on the candidate.
Requirements
• 3-5 PQE Common law qualified
• Corporate M&A (funds experience would be bonus)
• Technical ability with confidence to be relatively independent on M&A transactions
• Evidence of BD skills important
• Arabic not necessary but, as always, a bonus
