Charterhouse is working with a leading alternative energy provider which is looking to hire a Corporate Communications Manager to develop effective PR and Communication strategies which support the growth plans of the business for the region.

This role will be responsible for creating the entire internal and external communications strategy, including ATL and BTL campaigns, with a key focus on producing content which is both compelling and technically precise, in turn driving tangible business results across all markets. Previous involvement in the announcement of IPO listings is essential for this role as it will be a major focus for the organisation. Our client is looking for a strategic thinker with excellent problem solving and communication skills who can act with a high level of autonomy and decision making. This role will oversee and manage PR agencies and involves a lot of interaction with senior stakeholders and experts within the energy and sustainability industry, therefore the successful candidate must be able to demonstrate excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills. Due to the advanced level of technical information which will be communicated, it is crucial that the selected candidate has past experience of interpreting large amounts of complex data and translating in to clear, precise and engaging copy.

As this role overseas a number of markets across the Middle East and Africa only candidates who are fully fluent in both English and Arabic may be considered.

Requirements

To be considered for this role you must hold a Bachelors or Masters in Communications or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years industry specific experience either in energy or sustainability. Due to the requirements of the role it is essential that the successful candidate can demonstrate excellent fluency in both English and Arabic written and spoken.

This role is based in the UAE, however may involve regular travel to regional offices/key markets.
