We are seeking an accomplished and driven Partner with a strong corporate focus to join our leading law firm in Abu Dhabi.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping our corporate practice, driving business development, and mentoring our junior lawyers. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be expected to contribute to the strategic direction of the firm while maintaining exceptional client relationships and delivering outstanding legal solutions.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity, and corporate restructuring.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to grow the corporate practice and enhance the firm's market position.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities through networking and business development initiatives.
- Provide expert legal advice on a wide range of corporate matters, ensuring compliance with local and international laws and regulations.
- Mentor and supervise junior lawyers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
- Represent clients in negotiations, drafting and reviewing legal documents, and providing guidance on corporate governance and compliance issues.
- Stay abreast of changes in laws and regulations that impact corporate clients and proactively advise clients on potential implications.
- Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to deliver comprehensive legal solutions to clients.
- Participate in the firm’s marketing initiatives, including thought leadership, seminars, and social media engagement to enhance the firm's visibility in the region.
- Contribute to the firm’s strategic planning and decision-making processes, ensuring alignment with the overall goals of the organization.

- A minimum of 8-10 years of experience in corporate law, with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and commercial transactions.
- Demonstrated track record of successfully managing and closing high-value transactions and delivering exceptional results for clients.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within a law firm or corporate legal department is highly desirable.
- Strong business acumen and the ability to identify and seize new business opportunities in a highly competitive environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues alike.
- Proven ability to mentor and develop junior lawyers, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- In-depth knowledge of UAE corporate law and regulations, with a strong understanding of international legal frameworks.
- A proactive and strategic thinker who can navigate complex legal challenges and provide pragmatic solutions.
- A relevant legal qualification and admission to practice law in the UAE or another jurisdiction.
- Fluency in English & Arabic is essential.

Salary:
AED 45,000 to 70,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Salary will be determined by book of business
