Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with an emerging markets focused financial services company that is looking to hire a Legal Counsel, who is a 6 – 8 PQE Common Law qualified funds / Corporate Lawyer in Dubai. An interesting opportunity to join an established and successful financial institution in a varied role.
The role will involve working closely with the legal team and broader business / stakeholders, in relation to funds structuring and asset management activities. The role will involve working on a broad range of legal work revolving around funds, investment vehicles, asset management, corporate / M&A and capital markets, relating to transactions in the UAE and across the EMEA region.
This legal team, works closely with the business, so the opportunity for a Lawyer to gain the level and breadth of exposure on deals that is unlikely in many organisations and never in law firms.
Requirements
The institution is interested in hiring a Common Law qualified corporate / funds Lawyer with c. 6 – 8 PQE for the role. The successful candidate will be coming from a Magic / Silver Circle / international law firm background and / or with in-house experience gained a major financial institution. There is an interest in candidates already in the UAE or open to relocating internationally.
Excellent tax free remuneration and package on offer to attract a high calibre individual who is interested in joining the team for the long term. Arabic language skills are not required.
