Job description / Role
On behalf of our client, a Local Law firm in partnership with a European brand - We are looking for a British Corporate Lawyer for their UK Desk to serve as a legal consultant. Based in Dubai and have more than 15 legal consultants and advocates from all over the world.
This joint venture is undoubtedly one of a kind in the UAE as they are able to represent clients at the courts, in case of litigation, through our local partners.
Our local partner, is one of the leading law firms in the UAE and has delivered the highest quality of legal services for almost 20 years.

Responsibilities:
- Head the UK desk.
- Consult and manage all corporate legal processes (commercial disputes, company set up,contracts, mergers and acquisitions, etc).
- Makes legal research to ensure that clients are in compliance with the current rules and regulations.
- Study, anticipate and protect clients against legal risks.
- Negotiate deals and attend company meetings.
- Understand and support the business of our diverse clients.
Requirements
- Preferably with practical experience of at least 2 years in the UAE or in any GCC country
- At least 3 years proven comparable law firm experience.
- Proven background in corporate law
- Excellent negotiation and communications skills
- Administrative and managerial skills
- Analytical ability and strong attention to detail
- Computer skills
- Current license to practice as a Legal Consultant in the UAE (not mandatory)
- Degree in Law
- Nationality: British
- Arabic skills: Not required
