Corporate Lawyer - Abu Dhabi - Leading Law Firm

We are seeking a highly skilled Corporate Lawyer to join our esteemed law firm in Abu Dhabi.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law, with a strong focus on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance matters. Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on a range of corporate matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
- Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and corporate governance policies, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Conduct due diligence investigations and risk assessments for potential mergers and acquisitions.
- Advise clients on corporate governance best practices and regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to local and international laws.
- Represent clients in negotiations, mediations, and arbitration proceedings, advocating for their best interests.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, tax, and compliance, to develop comprehensive legal strategies and solutions.
- Stay updated on changes in corporate law and regulations, ensuring the firm’s practices remain compliant and effective.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored legal solutions.
- Mentor and train junior lawyers and legal staff, fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
- Contribute to the firm’s business development efforts, including networking and attending industry events to enhance the firm’s visibility.

- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized university; a Master’s degree (LLM) or relevant specialization is preferred.
- Qualified lawyer with at least 5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong knowledge of corporate laws and regulations in the UAE and the wider Middle East region.
- Proven track record in handling complex mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance matters.
- Excellent negotiation and drafting skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to analyze complex legal issues.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team, managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic or other languages is a plus.
- Strong ethical standards and the ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactions.

Salary:
AED 26,000 to 32,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Additional benefits: Can be fleixble depending on profile.
