Job description / Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Corporate Lawyer to join our dynamic legal team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in corporate law, with a strong background in mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, and compliance. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients, advising them on complex legal issues and ensuring that their business operations adhere to local and international regulations. The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker with excellent negotiation skills, capable of providing sound legal advice in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice on corporate matters, including mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and corporate restructuring.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of corporate agreements, including shareholder agreements, partnership agreements, and commercial contracts.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to support corporate transactions and ensure compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Advise clients on corporate governance matters and assist with the preparation of board resolutions, minutes, and other corporate documents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to implement business strategies while mitigating legal risks.
- Represent clients in negotiations with regulatory authorities and other third parties.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations affecting corporate entities and advise clients accordingly.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients by providing timely and actionable legal insights.
- Lead due diligence processes for corporate transactions and prepare comprehensive reports for clients.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior legal staff and contribute to the overall development of the legal team.
Requirements:
- Qualified lawyer with a degree in law from a recognized institution; LLM or equivalent is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate law, preferably within a reputable law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong understanding of UAE corporate legislation and regulatory frameworks, as well as international corporate law principles.
- Proven track record in handling complex corporate transactions and providing strategic legal advice.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while being self-motivated and proactive.
Salary:
AED
25,000 to 40,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Executive search involves working with a third party, such as JEX Personnel.
Executive search is relationship driven. JEX Personnel will work closely with you to understand the requirements of the role. It is a research-led approach, meaning a search firm will be paid a retainer fee upfront to carry out analyse the marketplace and benchmark for skills/roles and salaries.
A search firm will tend to have extensive knowledge of and access to board directors and senior executives across industries and functions, allowing them to build a large pool of top executive talent
