Job description / Role
Our client, an international law firm, is urgently looking for a Corporate Legal Associate who will be based in the UAE. In this role, you will have the following responsibilities:
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements including a wide array of commercial transaction documents and related agreements.
• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating contract provisions within a wide range of other commercial agreements.
• Supporting M&A and corporate transactions and other wider projects with due diligence, research and ancillary contracts.
• Drafting advice to clients on corporate legal issues.
• Drafting various commercial agreements covering supply, distribution, consultancy, advertising and legal notices.
• Assisting with the preparation and delivery of proposals, pitches, presentations and legal training materials.
Requirements
To be considered for the role, you need to meet the following criteria:
• Have at least 4 to 5 years legal experience, preferably with a large law firm
• Western trained
• Extensive general corporate legal experience
• Have worked in the UAE
• Excellent command of English
