Employment: Full Time

As the Legal Counsel, you will provide Legal Advice on M&A, Venture Capital and other corporate finance transactions

Client Details

A major telecommunications operator with presence across the Middle East.

Description

Reporting to the Senior Legal Counsel, this person will have the following responsibilities:

* Provide M&A and venture capital legal advice in respect of transactions across multiple jurisdictions (often cross-border), adopting a collaborative business-partnering approach.
* Coordinate and manage external legal support and collaborate with other colleagues (e.g. from M&A, venture capital, finance, tax, HR teams) to provide effective legal support to wider business colleagues in relation to structuring, term sheets, due diligence, closing and post-closing integration.
* Support on other strategic transactions and corporate finance projects.
* Develop and manage, with assistance of external counsel, foreign direct investment and merger control strategy.

Requirements

* 4+ years of experience in Corporate M&A
* Previous experience in Private Practice will be valued
* Experience in a telecommunications or technology company
* Common Law qualified.
* Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills.
* Demonstrated ability to manage complex transactions or projects
