Corporate Media Specialist

Job description / Role

Responsible for overseeing communications to the media, including preparing articles, press kits, press releases, updating website content and other content initiatives. Cultivates and manages relationships with media reps and enhance internal communication and coordination.

Duties:
- Initiate and manage internal and external events:
- Updating information on internal and external website
- Writing monthly and quarterly newsletters
- Play a key role in enhancing internal communication and coordination

Requirements

- A Bachelor’s degree in public relations, marketing/communication or similar.
- A minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience in advertising.

Essential Skills
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Excellent verbal and written communications in Arabic and English.
- Attention to details
- Strong writing skills in English and Arabic
- Full awareness of creative processes and techniques – including digital platforms.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Skilled at negotiating and motivating others
- Quick to absorb and analyses large amounts of information
- Able to present ideas with conviction
- Proficient working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

- Internet search prioritizing / optimization
