Employment: Full Time

Opportunity for an experienced Paralegal to work in house

Client Details

• Highly regarded Professional Services Company

Description

• Have a strong knowledge of the UAE companies law.
• Work alongside Legal & Governance members to attend to corporate matters, internal processes and procedures, risk management and governance protocols.
• Assist Chief Legal Officer
• Participate in the development and roll out of standard legal templates.
• Review contractual documents, carry out document comparisons and sanity checks
• Manage and administer contractual deliverable
• Assist with documentation regarding acquisitions
• Draft powers of attorney and assist in obtaining notarization's, legalization's
• Draft memos
• Draft meeting notices for annual general assemblies
• Draft minutes of board and shareholder meetings.
• Draft and amend organizational documents such as memoranda / articles of association.
• Prepare high quality materials, including PowerPoint presentations and excel spreadsheets.

Requirements

• Law degree or paralegal certification from a recognized law school/institution.
• 5+ years experience
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to create and maintain good working relationships.
• Research and analytical skills.
• Fluent English (essential); Arabic (desirable).
• Ability to identify and analyze basic corporate legal issues.
