Job description / Role
Charterhouse is working with a high profile telecommunications company who is looking to hire a Senior Lawyer to undertake a key role in relation to corporate, M&A, digital, TMT, IP work relating to the company’s business activities, investments, acquisitions, strategic partnerships, JV’s etc.
The role will involve working closely with the senior internal stakeholders in the M&A team / group level, in relation to international expansion globally, with an emphasis on the Middle East, Asia and Africa regions. The role will involve key involvement in the legal aspects of corporate M&A etc. activity in the digital, telecoms, technology sectors, drafting of documentation, managing due diligence and M&A transactions and anticipating / mitigating risk.
The successful candidate should be a qualified Lawyer, with 10 years + experience working as a Legal Counsel within a large company or law firm. Experience of working with the telecommunications and / or digital sector and knowledge corporate M&A legal work within that market is essential. The suitable candidate should have Middle East experience, however those individuals open to relocation are also of interest. The role offers attractive remuneration, excellent bonus scheme, education allowance, family medical and flights, so a highly attractive package bring in a high calibre individual. The role will be based predominantly in Abu Dhabi, but with regular travel to Dubai.
