Job description / Role
COST CONTROL:
• Prepare monthly project cost reports and forward to cost control manager for review and later for management submission
• Cost reports will support management in decision making regarding expedite of project completion and set deadlines to operations team in case of delay
• Liaison with other departments regarding cost control reporting
• Approve PRs against budget allocated for each projects
• Upon receipt of Candy file for approved project budget from Estimation team, cost codes and activity codes will be input and later will be uploaded in BuildSmart by line manager
CO-ORDINATION:
• Coordinate with QS, Accounts, Stores, Purchase, Production and Planning by compiling data and prepare cost reports
• Coordinate with QS/Technical/Production teams if any purchase order exceeds budget and investigate the reason behind over budget (due to variations, damages, etc.)
• Upon investigation prepare budget transfer logs and variation order logs and upon approval from management will be updated in Candy and uploaded onto BuildSmart by line manager
GENERAL:
• Monitoring the project closely and getting information from QS department regarding variations/ payment certificates received/actual payments received
MEETINGS:
• Explain to GM the status of each project from the consolidated cost report prepared and approved by respective PMs and cost control manager
• Participate in meetings regarding BS codes with commercial or estimation and cost control manager
• Meeting with Project Managers / QS / Operations Manager regarding monthly cost reports and providing them the required details
Salary:
AED
6,000 to 9,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
Requirements
• Education/Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Skills: Analytical and Good Communication skills
• Experience: Minimum 7 years relevant experience in Alluminium
• Knowledge: Oracle, Build Smart, Candy, MS - Office
• Nationality: Any
• UAE Driving License: Advantage
