Job description / Role
On behalf of our client a UAE based oil and gas operator we are looking to recruit a Cost Controller-Well Operations. Reporting to the Drilling Engineering Manager you will be responsible for providing reporting and analytical support to the well operations division, review in detail the cost base of the departments projects and identification of the cost drivers associated with them, work with the department managers and ELT member by providing support in the collation of annual budgets and in year forecasts
Requirements
The successful candidate ideally have Professional Qualification i.e Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA); Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA); Certified Public Accountant; Certified Management Accountant (CMA) and/or engineering degree (preferred) 5+ years related work experience in the oil and gas industry and specifically Well Operations department. A strong track record as a Cost Controller for Well Operations.Relevant experience in costing is mandatory, and experience working with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system, preferably Oracle.
