Ontime Healthcare is in search of a knowledgeable and meticulous cost estimator within the fitout industry. As a cost estimator, you will play a crucial role in our project development process by estimating project costs and ensuring financial feasibility for our fitout projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review project plans, specifications, and construction schedules to prepare precise cost estimates.
• Engage with architects, engineers, and project managers to clarify project requirements and nuances.
• Conduct market research to gather data on pricing for materials, labor, and equipment.
• Provide detailed estimates on direct and indirect costs associated with each project.
• Monitor ongoing projects to track expenditures against estimated budgets and ensure financial compliance.
• Assist in the preparation of bid proposals and tender submissions.
• Update and maintain a cost database to reference previous projects and benchmark future estimates.
• Prepare periodic reports on cost-per-square-foot for the fitout industry to assess trends and provide insights.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in quantity surveying, construction management, or a relevant field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost estimation within the fitout or construction industry.
• Proficient in industry-standard estimating software and tools.
• Strong numerical skills with a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
• Thorough knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry regulations.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects effectively.
• Familiarity with local market conditions and pricing trends is advantageous.
