Employment: Full Time

Currie & Brown has a range of opportunities within the Middle East region and is currently seeking a Cost Manager to work on a prestigious project in the Abu Dhabi Office.

We are looking for well-rounded individuals with experience of providing PQS services to a wide range of clients in a variety of sectors including Residential, Retail, Commercial, Leisure and Hotel.

The successful candidates will be supporting project leaders in generating a high standard of service delivery, achieving successful outcomes for our clients, capturing and sharing knowledge across projects, enhancing our culture of innovation and reinforcing our reputation as a preferred service provider.

In the various roles we have across the region, the focus will be on professional work across a wide variety of selected projects, mainly pre-contract.

Applicants will be required to demonstrate appropriate delivery experience, showing high levels of technical ability, commercial knowledge, key drivers of cost and value and an ambition for personal development and team excellence.

This will be an extremely rewarding role working for a company with excellent growth plans in the Middle East.

Requirements

- Degree in Quantity Surveying or similar technical discipline
- Middle East experience will be ideal but not essential
- Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience
- Pre and/or Post Contract experience
- Excellent customer service, communication and client/external interface skills
- Well organised, diligent, proactive, assertive, well disciplined and commercially astute
- Excellent communication and presentation skills both written and verbal
- A track record of working with teams and managing projects by prioritising workloads and delivering to deadlines
- Preference will be given to Malaysians.
