Employment: Full Time

My client is a well-respected International Cost Consultancy that has been growing steadily over the last 20 years. They have been involved in projects across the world and have a good presence in the GCC. You will be preparing projects plans and acting as a main point of contact with their clients throughout the design and procurement.
You will also be tasked with preparing accurate estimates throughout the design stages and implementing the commercial risk management processes. You will be developing tender documents for bids, working on BOQ’s, reviewing and change orders and reconciling cost orders. You will also be leading a small team so you should be adept at managing at least 2 people.

Requirements

They require an experienced Cost Planner to join their team and work on the estimation side of the business for their upcoming projects. The client has a number of projects upcoming that require detailed estimation and cost planning. You must have experience working on medium to large sized building projects including Commercial, Residential, Education and Themed Entertainment.
The necessary qualification is a BSc Quantity Surveying and experience in the Middle East is essential. A record of working with Cost Consultancies is preferable but having some experience on the Contractor side can also be helpful. The ideal candidate will have a track record of taking projects through cost planning, into procurement, into construction to successful completion whilst remaining on budget.
