Creative Media Specialist

Job description / Role

On behalf of our client a leading oil and gas company that is based in Dubai we are looking to recruit a Creative Media Specialist we are looking to recruit a Creative Media Specialist.

Reporting to the General Manager you will be responsible for participating in the implementation of communication efforts, including the creation of copy for use in social media and in the production of collateral material, to raise awareness of, understanding of, and appreciation of the company and assume responsibility for the Company Website and Corporate Discount Scheme. Specifically identify, implement, and manage best practices and strategic direction for social media channels, develop social media policies and strategies, and identify social media opportunities, create consistency and distinction across all social media platforms, support the development and distribution of content with operations and perform any other tasks as requested by the General Manager’s Office contributing along with other duties as assigned.

Requirements

The successful candidate must have the below experience:

- 2+ years related experience which includes creating and producing newsletters, publications, websites, and social media.
- Experience of creating/developing complex social media strategies.
- Experience of leading social media related projects.
- Experience of managing an Organizations social media presence.
- Experience working with third-party vendors is preferred.
- Experience presenting and communicating to stakeholders both written and orally
- Strong technical skills to update and edit websites.
- Strong writing/editorial skills required.
- Ability to proofread documents for accuracy, spelling, grammar and content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office suites, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop and video production a plus.
- Highly focused on accuracy and timely delivery.
- Must be able to work independently in an environment with many contributors and stakeholders, as well as across departments.
- Ability to organize workload and manage projects in a fast paced, detail-oriented environment in a timely manner.
- Excellent planning and creative problem solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills essential; Arabic language skills a plus.
