Credit Analyst (French Speaker)

Job description / Role

Our Fortune 100 client is hiring a Credit Analyst (French speaking) for their Dubai office. The role will cover operations in French speaking African countries, and hence the successful candidate must speak native French, and preferably Arabic too.

Please note that this is a 12 month contract which may be extended or made permanent.

Responsibilities

• Carry out the activities necessary to provide credit to customers with acceptable limits of risk to the company.
• Negotiate financial transactions of moderate complexity and prepare transactions for documentation and funding within limits of authority
• Assisting in the administration of wholesale and retail customer compliance reviews and audits
• Calculate casualty values and amortization schedules
• Apply past due account collection techniques
• Analyse customer credit summaries
• Apply financing and taxation principles.

Salary:
AED 20,000 to 22,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

• Native French speaker, and ideally Arabic
• Excellent interpersonal skills, as our client is keen to develop all employees into other more senior positions
• Solid experience gained in credit analysis concepts and techniques
• Knowledge of financing and leasing products
• Thorough knowledge of financing and leasing documentation principles.
• Knowledge of billing, invoicing and payment principles and concepts.
• Knowledge of security filing requirements and their applicability to bankruptcy laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of marketing, credit and customer services concepts and techniques
