Credit Analyst - Vehicle Finance - Arabic Speaker

Job description / Role

The Credit Analyst - Vehicle Finance (Arabic Speaker) will be responsible to review and analyse credit applications related to Vehicle Finance loans requests in order to determine the degree of risk involved, and make credit recommendation.

The Credit Analyst - Vehicle Finance (Arabic Speaker) will be responsible for the following:
* Consistently collect all the necessary documentation/ information to accurately evaluate the application
* Take initiatives to gather additional information which will enhance the quality of the credit decision
* Analyse bank statements and probe prospective customers on various key areas so as to be able to perform accurate risk rating assessment
* Accurately populate information within credit scorecards to generate a reliable score for the application
* Ensure that proposed credit applications are within set credit policy, and quality of proposal is adequate
* Ensure that all deviations from policy and mitigants to the same to be highlighted to the sanctioners
* Ensure that all recommended credit proposals are signed off by correct authority levels as per the DoA, and accurately input final sanction terms within the system
* Record of all documents/ reports/checks in relation to both sanctioned as well as declined deals to be maintained on the server/ system in a timely manner
* Identify and document weaknesses in loan policy compliance and structure and recommend improvements to the Head of Credit Analysis
* Work with the Head of Credit Analysis in refining and enhancing existing credit policies as required
* Prepare MIs, presentations and reports as requested by Head of Credit Analysis
* Handle special assignments, projects or other AD HOC request as assigned by Head of Credit Analysis

Job Offer:
10,000 - 14,000 AED

Requirements

* Commercial banking professional with a minimum of 3 years' experience in analysis for SME Lending
* Strong credit analysis skills with a particular focus on the SME market. Able to determine the underlying story from a set of financial accounts or management information
* Strong interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate and challenge effectively at a senior level
* Preferably CA/CPA/ACCA qualified
* Arabic is required for this role
* Candidates must be based in the UAE
