Job description / Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Credit Manager role to join the Credit team at a leading bank based in Dubai. The team is responsible for performing credit appraisal, assessment and control.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Appraisal, assessment & control of credit exposures.
• Control function, which ensures group takes on assets which meets the standards on lending in terms of risk.
• Set up credit policies which allow us to process credit proposals from wholesale banking units within agreed time-frame thereby set up service level agreements which will define turn around time and ensure response levels.
• Ensure that lending proposals are in compliance with bank's credit policy and also in compliance with UAE Central Bank's regulatory norms.
Requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree or higher
• Minimum of 10 years work experience covering corporate credit
• Knowledge of corporate products including Trade Finance, Treasury, and Syndications/Club deals; and Real estate and Project finance
• Strong knowledge of credit risk management including banking practices and procedures
