Job description / Role
Culinary Staff up to 5.5k aed for A Luxury FnB Group in Auh
• Responsible for daily food preparation
• Follows the instructions and recommendations from the immediate superiors
• Able to estimate the daily production needs and checking the quality of raw and cooked food products to ensure that standards are met
• Ensure that the production, preparation and presentation of food are of the highest quality at all times
• Ensure highest levels of guest satisfaction, quality, operating and food costs on an ongoing basis
• Knowledge of all standard procedures and policies pertaining to food preparation, receiving, storage and sanitation
Requirements
CANDIDATE PROFILE:
• Open to any nationality preferably French speaking candidates
• Male, 35 years old and below.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• Degree/Certification/Training in Hotel Management/Culinary/ any relevant work experience
• At least 2 years of proven experience in the same role in an upscale restaurant – preferably French/European concept
• With background in French cuisine
• Excellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processes
• Knowledge of best cooking practices and, hygiene and safety practices
• Strong problem solving, communication, and interpersonal skills, ability to handle tense situations with coworkers and customers calmly and rationally
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
