Job Purpose
The Customer Marketing Manager is responsible for end-to-end customer lifecycle marketing strategies and plans for all Lifestyle, Luxury & Hospitality brands and businesses geared towards strong brand positioning, media and digital presence paired with superior customer shopping experience and distinguished customer value proposition.
The Customer Marketing Manager leads the execution of multi-channel customer marketing programs aligned to brand and wider business customer marketing strategy including branding, digital and socially media marketing, PR, media and customer communications working closely with brand principals and commercial teams.

Essential Roles and Responsibilities
Strategic Roles and Responsibilities
• Develop strategic marketing and brand positioning roadmap for all Lifestyle, Luxury & Hospitality brands and businesses in line with commercial and wider business strategies.
• Lead the development and execution of integrated multi-channel marketing plans aligned to every brand concept and based on the agreed financial and performance metrics.
• Determine, manage & optimize marketing budget and plans for all Lifestyle, Luxury & Hospitality brands including regional and local brand and market specific customer marketing roadmaps.
• Develop in-house content development and creative conceptualization capability across the multi-channel marketing media including digital campaign and ad creation, banners tracking and segmentation.
• Lead development of marketing metrics to gauge market response to marketing campaigns and monitor marketing performance including ROI of marketing spend by brand, by market and by channel using a comprehensive set of performance KPIs.
• Monitor and analyze various digital marketing reports for each brand to understand customer behavior, preferences and trends, identify local and seasonal patterns, pricing policy implications etc.
• Collaborate closely with all stakeholders including Commercial, Operations and Omni-channel teams to develop integrated multi-channel brand-specific customer marketing programs leveraging various customer touchpoints.
Functional Roles and Responsibilities
Implement multi-channel marketing plans to drive Brand Positioning & Customer loyalty
• Lead the Customer Marketing team in development and execution of marketing plans including brand-specific customer attraction, engagement, re-engagement and retention programs to suit the specific needs and budget of every brand concept in line with overall marketing strategy.
• Lead the Marketing team in development of innovative ideas & channel strategies for partnership, influencer marketing, social campaigns to drive brand awareness and new customer acquisition.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of Brand Principal requirements and compliance with brand guidelines.
• Direct and lead marketing teams in development and implementation of targeted end-to-end customer lifecycle marketing programs including best-in-class in-store customer experience as well as multi-channel integrated marketing to include digital communication, social media, advertising, and brand and business communication.
• Drive and lead effective digital marketing capability and programs to support Omni-channel business including Online Search Marketing, Real-Time Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, Mobile & Content Marketing activities and use of digital analytics.
• Direct and oversee the development, frequency and positioning of all content, PR and editorial execution, social media calendars, ensuring integration with seasonal marketing and PR campaigns, product and service launches, and over-arching brand strategies.
• Lead all creative direction and content implementation for both the direct marketing team and the visual merchandising team to ensure a seamless execution.
Create Compelling In-Store Customer Experience and Overall Customer Journey
• Work with commercial teams to spearhead and leverage best-in-class in-store customer experience to enhance overall customer value proposition and improve competitive edge of the brands and businesses.
• Work closely with Commercial and Operations team to drive customer service excellence and streamline the customer journey to achieve customer loyalty and sustainable competitive advantage.
• Drive technology-leveraged superior in-store customer experience programs including effective use of mobile strategies and adoption of in-store smartphone and tablet enabled technologies to offer enhanced customer experience and drive customer engagement and loyalty.
Create Unified Online and Offline Customer Experience
• Work closely with omni-channel team to drive development of a unified in-store and online customer experience as a lever to enhance the brands’ competitive advantage.
Leverage User-Generated Content to Foster Brand Advocacy
• Drive innovative strategies to incorporate user-generated content (UGC) as part of digital marketing media, to increase customer engagement and extended outreach across various online devices and channels, encouraging loyal customers to become brand advocates to outreach a wider spread of potential customers.
Monitor Customer Marketing Metrics to Drive ROI
• Monitor and evaluate customer-marketing performance metrics related to brand and product positioning,
• Manage ROI of marketing expenditure using various performance metrics to measure footfall, sales performance, customer engagement and loyalty, and market and consumer intelligence and analytics.
People Management Roles and Responsibilities
• Provide leadership and direction to Customer Marketing team towards the achievement of their individual and departmental goals and objectives.
• Guide and motivate the team to enhance performance and produce quality work and ensure that they are developed and prepared for succession.
• Manage team objective setting and performance review, feedback and evaluation process; prepare appraisal reports of direct reports to assess productivity, progress and identify training needs to improve efficiency and ensure conformity with standard procedures and practices.
• Communicate and manage organizational changes and mitigate risks through effective change management.

Requirements

Job Requirements

Education/Certification and Continued Education
• Graduate or Post Graduate Degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Media, or related field.
Years of Experience
• Minimum of 10 years of creative marketing experience, with at least 5 years’ in a Management role managing multi-channel multi-discipline marketing teams.
• Has been accountable for leading high-profile international brands within a wide geographical spread, multi-media marketing events at the divisional and company-wide level
Knowledge and Skills
• Experience in leading creative and brand marketing in a multi-channel organization.
• Experience with digital marketing tools and techniques.
• Ability to lead and motivate teams.
• Strong collaboration skills.
• Strategic mindset with a track record of strong decision-making.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Languages
• Must have a good command of English
