Mandarin Customer Service Representative

We are working with a global financial services firm to recruit experienced Chinese speaking Customer Service Specialists to join their expanding operations team in Dubai. We are looking for candidates who are customer centric and have a passion for financial markets.

What you can expect:

You will be joining a truly multicultural business. With focused teams set up for all major languages, you will join the existing Mandarin speaking team who are there solely to support the Chinese customers. You simply must be native Mandarin speaking to be successful in this role.

The aim of the role is to provide professional support to clients throughout their lifecycle. You will open, amend, and close accounts, maintain client records and support clients with troubleshooting issues. In order to be comfortable with the requirements of this role you really should have proven experience in a similar computer-based position.

While a lot of your work will be done online you will also be required to support the clients over the phone. Your excellent communication and ability to work quickly and efficiently will be put to the test.

This role is compliance and document heavy, we need candidates who have exceptional attention to detail and are able to work concisely under strict time constraints.

What we need:

Alongside the Mandarin requirement, you should have a strong grasp of English in order to communicate clearly with the wider business.

You should have a natural curiosity, the ability to think outside the box and the desire to go above and beyond to support clients.

It is preferred that have an interest in the financial aspect of the role - not only will you be dealing with deposits, trading and withdrawals you will also be expected to upsell. To be successful in this you will need to truly understand your product.
