Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Reporting to: Director
• Number required: 1-2
• Duration: Permanent
• Desired start date: 01/04/2022
• Probation: 6 Months
• Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 08.30 - 18.00 (with one hour lunch break)
• Gross monthly base salary: Around AED 5,000 Tax Free (depending on qualifications and experience)
• Commission / Bonus: A bonus may be rewarded based on performance.

• Travel requirements: The chosen candidate may occasionally be required to travel abroad, and take part in representing the company at exhibitions by meeting with clients.

Main responsibilities:
• This role will involve processing orders for paper and board; from preparing sales contracts and proforma invoices, to dealing with customer queries and complaints, dealing with correspondence between both clients and the paper mills with which we cooperate (i.e. updating clients on the status of their orders), preparing transportation documentation and understanding the import/export requirements & regulations, arranging shipments with forwarding companies, and dispatching samples to clients.
• Working closely with our Director to prepare offers for our customers and send inquiries to our manufacturers.
• Working closely with the other members of our team to assist in the smooth running of our business.
• Maintaining proper filing systems, and performing other general administrative tasks.
• Following up pending payments with the customers.
• Nature and length of previous experience: At least 2 years experience in a similar role (customer support sector, handling orders, customer complaints, inquiries, correspondence etc.)
• University Qualifications: It would be preferable for the chosen candidate to have a university degree.

Salary:
AED 4,000 to 6,000 per month inclusive of fixed allowances.

Requirements

Specialist knowledge:
• Knowledge of handling transportation/logistical documentation such as Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Bills of Lading, Certificates of Origin, Vessel Certificates etc. would be seen as an advantage.
• Practice in dealing with Letters of Credit, and coordinating the related financial transactions between clients and the banks would be a plus.
• First-rate knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Language Fluency: Fluency in English is essential (both written and spoken).
• Fluency in Arabic would be considered an advantage.
• Current Location: UAE

About the Company

Cadrex Overseas Ltd was founded in January 1997, on the island of Cyprus, by Mr. Zakaria Al Diqs; a competent man who began his lengthy career in the paper industry in the year 1982. The company is now run by his son, Mr. Samer Al Diqs, who followed in his father’s footsteps, familiarizing himself with the social and business aspects of the paper industry from an early age.

The company’s office is situated in the city of Limassol, Cyprus, with around thirteen members of staff dealing with sales and administrative duties related to the paper and board industry with which Cadrex Overseas Ltd deals. Our company has the fortune of dealing with over 14 countries in the Middle East and Northern Africa regions, and our outreach is gradually expanding to also include more countries in Africa and Asia.

At present, our company is the exclusive sales agent for some of the biggest paper mills in the world. Our main associates are Moorim Group which is based in South Korea, which produces over 1.5 Million MT of paper annually; mainly WFC Paper and Board. We also work closely with some other well recognised European and Far Eastern paper manufacturers, such as Feldmuehle Uetersen GmbH in Germany, Arctic Paper in Sweden, J. Vilaseca S.A. in Spain, Chenming Mill in China, and Hanchang Paper in South Korea, among others. It is through these companies that we achieve remarkable and annually increasing sales records. We believe this cooperation gives our company a positive sales edge, making us one of the leading sales channels in this area, and providing us with a lot of potential as a company.

We currently supply various qualities of paper and board to our clients, including 2/SC Art Paper, 1/SC Duplex Board (Grey & White Back), Bristol Board, Security Paper, Book Paper, 1/SC Label Paper, Ivory Board, Folding Box Board, W/F Paper, Kraft Paper and Cup Paper, among many others.
