Job description / Role
• Responsible for processing all shipment clearance documentation ensuring smooth and timely shipment clearance from customs
• Accountable for clearing shipments from Dubai municipality
• Arrange for shipment clearance payments
• Checking the ETA of the shipment and Follow up with shipping line and send the supporting documents to shipping line to get the Delivery Orders
• Send the Consignment schedule
• Sending the mail to shipping line with supporting documents and images of container damage and follow up to get the acceptance letter to return the empty container
• Sending the Genset request to Middle East Container Repair Company (MECREC) and submit the invoices to Finance with details
• Arabic food label translation and proof reading of miscellaneous documents.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
• Fluent English and mandatory Arabic language – spoken and written
• Minimum of 1 - 2 years’ experience in a similar role
• Strong command in MS Office suite packages and good working knowledge of the same understanding & experience
