Cyber Security Analyst

Job description / Role

We are now looking for Cyber Security Analyst to join the ICT team at Transguard Group. Reporting to the Information Security Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the implementation and maintenance of information security measures and security incident management to ensure Transguard’s information assets are secure from all forms of cyber-attacks.

You will proactively analyse and assess data, logs, and forensic information to detect vulnerabilities in the infrastructure, and establish security requirements for the organizations systems/networks. In this role, you will also deliver security awareness sessions to the business.

Requirements

You will be self-motivated, reliable and proactive, with excellent problem solving and communication skills.

In addition the successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:
- Diploma or Degree in information systems or related field
- Knowledge of SDLC and security tools for example DLP, Logrhythm SIEM, Anti-virus, Malware Heuristics, cryptography
- Experience of Kali Linux , Metasploit, Nessus, Burpsuite
- Experience with documentation and processes
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, relationship management and facilitation skills
- Minimum English Language Level 5 (by TG Standards)
