We are looking for a passionate Risk and Data Analyst lead in Dubai. As the new Lead for our client's Data & Risk team, you will be responsible of expanding our data driven approach for business monitoring & risk performance.

The right candidate will bring experience from a position of leading teams across Risk and Data analytics. The candidate will also have a business mindset and is able to see the "big picture" as well as having attention to detail.

The candidate is familiar with analyzing complex data and recommending key actions for Senior Management.

Your main responsibilities:

- Interpret data, analyse results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports
- Develop databases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize business and product performance
- Conduct research and make recommendations that impact strategic business direction
- Identify, analyse, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets
- Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
- Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
- Constantly be on the lookout for ways to improve monitoring, discover issues and deliver better value to the company and user

Furthermore, we have additional requirements:

- Management experience in leading Risk & Data teams
- 5+ years proven experience in analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusion and in data visualization techniques and tools
- Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
- Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical systems for analyzing datasets (Qlik Sense, MySQL, Python, AWS, etc)
- Enjoy uncovering the story and explanations behind the data
- Bring Artificial intelligence and Machine learning to identify new patterns and better forecasting mechanisms
- An ability and eagerness to constantly learn and teach others
- Strong analytical skills, great attention to details, and good communication skills
- Management experience in leading Risk & Data teams
- You hold minimum a bachelor's in computer science, Mathematics, Statistics or Engineering
