Job description / Role
The Data Analyst will play a crucial role in analyzing media performance, delivering campaign insights, and supporting business analytics initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Data Analysis & Insights Generation:
- Analyze large datasets across multiple channels, including digital, social, and traditional media, to derive insights on campaign performance, audience behavior, and engagement patterns.
- Generate actionable insights that support campaign optimizations and strategic decision-making.
Media Reporting & Campaign Analysis:
- Develop and deliver in-depth media performance reports and dashboards, tracking key KPIs such as ROI, engagement, reach, conversions, and customer retention.
- Provide clear, insightful analysis and recommendations for campaign improvements based on data trends and insights.
Advanced Analytics & Business Intelligence:
- Perform advanced analytics, including customer segmentation, lifetime value analysis, attribution modeling, and predictive modeling, to guide marketing strategies and customer experience enhancements.
- Use statistical techniques to conduct A/B testing, identify patterns, and make data-backed recommendations for media planning and customer experience optimization.
Data Visualization & Reporting Tools:
- Build and maintain dashboards in tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio, presenting complex data in an easy-to-understand, visually compelling format.
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports for internal teams and clients, highlighting campaign effectiveness and strategic insights.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
- Work closely with the media, market research, strategy, and customer experience teams to provide data-driven insights that inform campaign planning, media buying, and content creation.
Continuous Improvement & Innovation:
- Stay up-to-date on the latest data analytics tools, media reporting technologies, and industry best practices.
- Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance data collection, analysis, and reporting efficiency.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Marketing Analytics, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience as a Data Analyst, ideally within media, advertising, or a data-driven environment.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in SQL, Excel, and at least one statistical programming language (Python or R).
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Google Data Studio.
- In-depth knowledge of media metrics and digital analytics tools (Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, etc.).
- Proven ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present insights to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
