Data Center Manager

Job description / Role

Our tech team provides and supports the systems that glue the business together. As importantly, they’re game changers for the industry. As part of that, you’ll see that our data center facilities, technology platform and services go beyond exceptional, every day.

What you’ll deliver
• You’ll be responsible for the center’s operation and technical management.
• As importantly, you’ll be in charge of the tactical delivery and 24/7 support of Systems, Server & Storage platform, Cloud and Messaging services.
• As well as supporting the data center, you’ll provide project teams with subject matter experts.
• It’s crucial that our platforms and product strategy and delivery meet changing, growing and future needs – you’ll work with Business Technology teams to ensure this.
• Lastly, you’ll transform the expertise of our teams and move the business from legacy to IaaS whenever possible.

Requirements

• You should have a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, while PMP or ITILv3 Foundation qualifications would be ideal.
• You’ll need 5 – 7 years’ experience in managing complex technology systems in a process-driven, customer-centric industry.
• Your knowledge will cover managing, maintaining and developing operationally-resilient multiple data centre systems, and also in data centre virtualization technologies, architecture and solution design.
• You’ll have a talent for managing multiple teams with different priorities and deadlines.
• In addition, you’ll be familiar with Airport business operations, Data Centre architecture and Network fundamentals.
