Data Engineer

Job description / Role

Quest is working with a progressive and ambitious tech company in the Middle East seeking for a Data Engineer to join their team in Dubai. We are looking for someone with strong relevant experience and has strong analytical skills and initiative.

As a Data Engineer, you will:
• Work with various online and offline projects
• Manage large data sets, perform data integration, cleansing, ingestion, analysis, etc
• Design and optimize customers' data architecture/flows
• Help clients in making sound decisions through developing analytical capabilities
• Develop and manage data pipeline architecture
• Optimize analytical tools and recommend actionable insights to clients
• Continuously improve processes and data systems

Requirements

• Strong background in Data Analysis, Engineering, Business Intelligence, and similar fields
• With at least 5-6 years’ similar experience
• Strong skills and knowledge in Cloud Data Architecture, Python/Scala, Java/C++/C#, Big Data Platforms, SQL, SLDC
• Highly analytical and has strong business mindset
• Very good verbal and written communication skills
