Data Engineer

Job description / Role

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong experience of dimensional modelling and ETL techniques, particularly Kimball to join a team tasked with unlocking the organisations value in structured and unstructured data. The role will be responsible for supporting the creation of, and subsequently maintaining, enterprise data by providing data engineering innovation and domain expertise.

Requirements

- Worked on data solutions using Azure data lakes, Azure data factory, Data bricks
- Using Kimball methodology to design and develop suitable star schemas for the organisations Data Warehouse
- Developing timely and performant ETL batch processes
- Strong understanding of Data Warehousing principles
- Strong experience building data pipelines with either SSIS or Azure Data Factory
- Extensive SQL background
- Some level of Power BI reporting experience
