As the Data Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for the overall data engineering operations as well as collaborating closely with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders, ensuring that data requirements are met to deliver valuable insights.

You will also oversee and guide the development of scalable data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions.

Description

* Lead the design, development, and maintenance of efficient data pipelines and ETL processes from diverse sources.
* Optimise and fine-tune data processing workflows for performance and reliability.
* Implement data integration solutions for consistent and accurate data across various systems.
* Work with the IT security team to ensure data privacy and compliance with data protection regulations.
* Evaluate and integrate new data engineering technologies to enhance capabilities.
* Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and guidance to the data engineering team.

Requirements

* A minimum of 8 years' experience in data engineering and ETL development, with a strong background in the Banking or Financial Services sector.
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
* Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala.
* Expertise in data processing frameworks like Apache Spark, Hadoop, or similar technologies.
* Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related data services.
