Job description / Role

Employment: Full Time

• Ensure as built status of localized components in local ERP-system
• Provide and implement all engineering data including but not limited to technical drawings, raw material data, specifications, etc.
• Check and confirm that all data and specification meet the requirements of MDT and are in line with the latest technical design („state of the art“) of the relevant item
• Handle local web tool for spare parts sourcing
• Create spare part interchangeability records (SPIR) including spare part recommendations, especially for localized components.
• Ensure that all cost information is valid when required, no matter where the parts are sourced.
• Improve the data quality to enable a smooth spare part process.
• Ensure that the technical status and configuration of the machine is known at any time
• Create and maintain material masters either in SAP (when available) or in local ERP system for localized components.
• Ensure that material data can be used worldwide by using English as mandatory second language.
• Ensure a proper functional-location-structure in order to link the spare part and machine information to the customer and site information

Requirements

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or Business Administration
• Strong technical background required, preferably from within the Turbomachinery Industry or gained within a customer environment
• Good communication skills in English (verbal and in writing)
• A team player with good social and intercultural communication skills
• Strong analytical skills, and a high attention to detail and accuracy
• Good experience with SAP and Customer Relationship Management tools
