Job description / Role
Data Migration Expert, 6 months contract with extension, Dubai
• Expert skills with MS SQL Server - Strong Database Administration and T-SQL skills
• Strong knowledge on relational databases
• Moderate skills with Oracle 12c
• Strong knowledge on XML and JSON
• Experience with MS SQL Server Integration Services and MS SQL Server Jobs
• Experience building ETL processes and defining data migration strategies
• Definition of data migration processes, including monitoring and troubleshooting for ongoing migrations and operations
• Good knowledge on performance optimization for SQL Server
• Technical writing skills on high level and detailed data migration designs
• Articulating the technical tasks breakdown (WBS) as input to project planning
Requirements
• Must be able to start Immediately
• Technical workshop leading and facilitation
• Presentation skills of approach, design, challenges, risks and risks mitigation
• Ability to work without direct supervision as a technical lead for the data migration stream
• Heterogeneous teams leading and ability to technical coordination of them to execute the tasks as planned
