Job description / Role
Its a six month-extendable project. The Data Lead must successfully manage and execute large-scale SAP data migration projects by developing
and implementing and executing a robust data migration strategy that ensures high data quality, integrity, and
consistency post migration.
The Data Lead will oversee the end-to-end data migration process, from initial scoping and planning to
execution and post-migration validation, ensuring that data is accurately transferred and aligned with business
processes.
Establish and maintain strong data governance frameworks and quality controls to minimize risks and ensure
compliance with industry standards and regulations. Additionally, the Data Lead will provide strategic
guidance to business and technical stakeholders, drive process improvements, and leverage innovative
solutions to enhance data management efficiency and performance.
Effective leadership, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement are critical to ensuring the successful
delivery of SAP migration projects and maximizing business value from data assets.
Requirements:
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
• Extensive experience in leading large-scale SAP data migration projects (e.g., ECC to S/4HANA or Legacy to S/4HANA).
• Strong understanding of SAP data models, master data, transactional data, and data migration tools (e.g., SAP Data Services, Migration Cockpit or other tools).
• Experience with Keyloop (Autoline DRIVE) is an added value.
• Proven experience in defining and implementing data governance, data quality, and data management frameworks.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and drive outcomes across business and technical teams.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on delivering business value through data.
• Experience in managing complex data landscapes and resolving data quality issues.
• Knowledge of data security, privacy regulations, and best practices.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with cloud-based data migration solutions (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Experience with data integration tools and ETL frameworks.
• Certification in SAP and/or data management methodologies.
• Understanding of Agile project delivery frameworks.
• Strong technical documentation and process improvement skills.
Salary:
AED
20,000
per month inclusive of fixed allowances.
